This hickory bow is for my 5 year old son. It's my first bow from a stave. I have made a couple board bows. 43" ntn 13#@17". Going to finish it With linseed oil and paste wax. Last pic is the one on the tiller in stick.

I could not see the first and the last. Did not try the others. Make sure your son can draw the bow before finishing.

I will make sure he can. It was going to be a Christmas present though lol. I tried reloading the pics so maybe now you can view them.

The bow looks very good. That would make a great Christmas present. I remember those days!
Anyway, maybe you can out it aside until then, let him draw and help you finish it.
