Title: First Go at Blacksmithing
Post by: Yooper Bowyer on November 11, 2021, 05:54:12 pm
This is my first go at blacksmithing and I think it turned out pretty good.  Bubby gave me the idea about a year ago.
The school's forge was down, so I used a torch.  It worked but was slow.  I can't wait to see what I can do with a proper setup.

Hope you like it,

It turned out nice. I made a bunch of those a couple of years ago and my son took them all to church and gave them to everyone.

Almost looks like ya making a swords guard. You know what they say. Forge thick, grind thin.

Very nice. That was the first thing I made with my forge.

Nice!  I did a similar cross for my first go at the forge(someone else's), will post a picture as soon as I can get Imgur working.
