And last but not least, a bow with a mouse hide quiver and tiny arrows with arrowheads. Those arrow shafts are broom straws:

Love it! All you need now is to build a bow! Great work on the fletching too.
-
MMM... donut. ;D
-
Dalton,
I am pleased you didn't say that as a challenge.
lol
You bow is absolutely gorgeous. I can't compete with that with my old eyes.
Jack, see I did read your post on the Otzi thread. Good conversation.
I did a Stanley bifurcate for today.

That's a beautiful point Zuma! Very nice and small!
I made that stuff back when I too could see. I should try some new stuff to see if I still can!
-
I just love the way you get those flake to travel ALL THE WAY ACROSS!!! It's gotta be your platform prep! >:D ;D ;D
-
@Dalton Knapper
c'mon tell the truth. How tall are you? ;D ;D ;D
really good works !!
@ Zuma
great points !!
now you should let some in the woods and let the archaeologists reflect about those strange "bugs points" ;D
-
On the head of a pin stuck in cork board.
I needed both hands. My breath kept knockin them off
Then I had to re-knap more, since I couldn't find them.
LOL yeah sure
-
Very nice work Dalton. I don't really have a great place to work on miniatures. Grandkids will be back soon so I wont have time either. One day I will match your set.
-
String, you know platform is where it's at. I really do depend on them or SNAP.
Glis, I have no idea how they would see them. They would sink when they floated the screened soil. lol
One more one.
I hope it does not become addictive.
I may have to get a magnifying loop to tune this one up proper.

Ok I had to get in on this one. These are about as small as I can go. It is fun and is super challenging!
I might have to work on some more and try to reduce the size a bit.
Mark
P.S. You all have got some jewellers lupes or something. I can hardly see the platform on these and was crosseyed for an hour afterwards.
-
No loupes or magnifiers - all with the naked eye! Let me see what else I can find.
-
Mark,
Those beauty/cuties are very well executed and pretty mini.
You'll be givin us a run for the money for sure.
Zuma
Ben, I gotta wear my readin glasses to presure flake a Clovis?
Naked eye?

First time posting any pics over here but I love this stuff. Tiny stuff is good practice
Here is one of my smallest. I wasn't trying to go really small, I just didn't have a lot to work with. It's out of some jasper I think.

This thing looks like the Eiffel Tower next to what you all are turning out!!
-
Good gravy,
I was just finishin this one when I dropped it.
It fell into a little spider's web. I waited till he wrapped it up and
went off for a snooze.
-
>:D
I actually couldn't find anything else in my pocket but the lint.
My neighbor's refused to loan me a dime.
So here is the other side.
-
Yeah Dalton, the tack was the only thing I could find that was small enough but still had enough strength to get the job done. They come in a variety of colors too!
Mark
-
I am glad I took the photo before I
dropped and broke it on the tile floor.
