A few weeks ago we had a traditional/primitive shoot at a local archery club. After the shoot hickory Bill and outback Bob did a flint knapping demo and we also did some fire making using the hand drill. Starring in the video was my son Jonah, Calvin, and myself. (Outback Bob makes a quick appearance)... Must be camera shy... Lol. Anyhow Calvin put together a nice video that I thought I'd share with everyone. Mugwort was used as the spindle and white pine as the hearth. We made a ton of fire that day using a wide variety of materials... This is what was filmed. Hope you enjoy.
