It took a little getting use to but I really like the ky blue it is real fine and produces smooth flakes. It will be fun to go back to the burlington and apply what I have leaned from the ky blue. I use a small copper bopper to remove larger thinning flake then switch to the copper pressure flaking tool. I am going to try and use 3/8 dia copper in my ishi stick and see it it will produce a similar effect to that of the small copper bopper. I would like to have a little more control of the placement of impact. I missed the ridge a couple of times and that caused me to alter my plans. I really appreciate the help and comments from all of you. I hope to see some of you at mojam this summer. Do any of you know of any other knapping events in the midwest for this summer?
