Oh, but I am . Got my myself ready to hunt warm weather abo. I'm a little darker skinned than the picture makes me appear, but I will have charcoal to rub on to lessen my sun glare
-
Don't forget that pine needle hat man! Your hard core Ryan.
-
I'm a little jealous of this getup. What part would the necklace play in hunting though? Good medicine? lol
-
Which Hospital do you want me to donate blood? :)
-
Tim- just decoration. I may not always wear it, but I like it.
Eddie, just call and make sure they have anti venom on hand :P I have done all my scouting and blind preparations in shorts and havent been eaten up too bad. Skeeters what you thinking?

The pose reminds me of old sketches of
Native Americans from the colonial era.
What's missing though is a badass mohawk
and some primitive sheik feather accessories!
Japbow.

A man in leather boxers. I'm gonna need mental floss to get that outa my head. Best start with the adult beverages of choice right away. >:D
-
Is that primitive sundial on your right wrist?
-
Need a beard and maybe a little chest hair. There is no glare off my chest . lol
-
The beard will come with the cold weather!
haha Jim, I think you are seeing the bobcat tail that is hanging off my quiver. no sundial here.
-
Understood. I haven't groomed mine since last Halloween and this heat is kicking my butt.
-

Snakes will be a problem regardless of how many clothes he has on. I recall being told Indians would smoke their clothing before a hunt to repel snakes. ( I smoke em to repel skeeters, no clue about snakes ) Also no clue if its true but sounds good :)
-
Great set up.
Being from the PNW (no snakes) I was wondering if raw hide was tough enough to make snake chaps out of or leg covers?
Good Luck on your hunt. Ed

Have fun, hope the sketters aren't as bad as they were for me when I was down there a couple of weeks ago. :) If so,they was hard for me to take with cloth on. :)

I used to wonder if you were crazy, but wearing those short shorts I can see your nuts.

hahah awesome one JW.. ;D well, unfortunately my private land hunting is kinda up in the air at the moment.. may not have it anymore soon.. if that happens I will have to hunt public land a year until I get a new spot... that means no abo hunting... someone may confuse me with a hog or deer.. I'd have to stick with the red and blue plaids on public land :-\ time will tell
-
Ah no worries you'll be using abo weapons that's what really matters.
I'm after my first with flint points (your's twistedlimbs)! I'll be happy as long as the deer is mature and 10 pointer or a long nose doe I'll take either. Get the doe out before the rut we got too many around here anyhow!
Season opens Sept. 28th but my serious buck hunting will take place in another three or four later when the pre rut kicks in!!
