As much stuff as Eddie has killed with his bow, the Whitetail deer has always eluded him until last week at TwinOaks, he made a great shot on a 104 lb doe at about 12 yards, she ran 80 yards. He shot it with a James Parker bow, very well done Eddie. Congrats.

Congrats Eddie. Nice doe. Wish I didn't have to leave so early from down there. Which stand were you in? I'm glad you got one.

Way to go Mr Parker!
-
Congratulations Eddie! Those longer whiskers must have brought you some good luck ;D
-
Thanks, guys, I was sure glad to get that monkey off my back. When Pappy invited me to hunt Twin Oaks a few years ago I new that would give me the most and best opportunity to finally get one. Thanks, Pappy.
Dave, I was in the Honey Hole. I had just had one drop to it's stomach at six yards ten minutes before this one.

Congratulations Eddie. Glad you connected, nice shootin
-
A hearty congratulations to you, mullet! Looks like a lotta plates of good healthy eating right there.
Who knows, maybe some day if you work hard enough and get a little lucky, you can get one with a bow you made! >:D
-
Thanks, Matt and JW.
I had my Osage with me, John but the arrows were not flying good enough for me after I put a FF string on. Next time, though. ;D

Nice job Eddie!

She is bee-u-t-full!!! :D
-
Congrats on that one Eddie, should be some good table fare there.
-
Not surprised you would set aside your own bow in that situation, Eddie. The ethical clean shot means more than who's handiwork you are carrying.
Now let's see about breaking that streak of bad luck on Merriam's turkeys!!! >:D
-
Congrats Eddie, wish I got to go down there with you guys, maybe next year. What type of broadhead did you use. BDan
-
Congrats Eddie. Good to see the work pay off!

Alright! 8) Dang, boy, with that hat, and beard, you look like a woods gnome!
She probably thought you were one of the Keeblers, so she didn't think you would be a threat. ;)

You may have something there. Eddie? Were you shooting from a hollow tree?
-
He didn't have to if he had the "Elvin Magic".
-
Man! All these people picking on you Eddie! Just ain't right!!!
Nice deer by the way. :)
-
;D

You guys are soooo lucky Eddie is a laid back, easy going guy. If he was one of them high-energy jumpy types you'd be in trouble!
-
Y'all are lucky the good Chris responded, he's more laid back then me :D, don't know what would have happened if the Bad Chris saw this harassment. ;D ;D ;)
Anyway, John at Twin Oaks beat you guys to it on Facebook the day it happened. :)
-
Nice shooting Eddie! Those damn whitetails have eluded my bow and arrow as well. Just a few weeks of season left for me to break the curse. Good job Friend.

I will refrain from mentioning what happened when Eddie was talked into one more full draw of his amazing James Parker hornbow down at the Classic last spring. Someone who shall remain nameless snapped a twig behind Eddie just as he came to full draw. >:D

Nice job! Nothing like hunting on the farm in Tennessee.
