Title: Quick question about paint
Post by: zinger on November 08, 2012, 10:42:04 pm
I am finishing a rawhide-backed bow that I'm giving to my nephew. The rawhide is functionally fine and it was done with hide glue and has a layer of the glue over it. However, it is none too pretty and I would like to paint over it. I want to make sure that whatever paint I use works well with that glue, standing the test when it comes to being bent over and over again. Any suggestions?

Acrylic craft paint from WalMart. It comes in 2oz bottles, lots of colors and is compatable with rawhide and hide glue.
