To prove to myself that it could be done I shoot them with a self bow, wood arrow with a black walnut footing and stone points.

Thanks Ed, I got three. Maybe 9-12 pounds. Dug them into the garden.

I really want to get into them to. I remember one time when the cottonwood trees were dropping their fuzzy seeds watching carp suck them off the surface. Gotta go there again when the cottonwoods dropping.

Well I went back the next day. I even bought a pair of polarized sun glasses.
Didn't see a single one. No bullin or jumping at all.   ::) ::) :o :o

Do not waste that carps
Stuff them with parsley, onions, garlic, salt and pepper, olive oil and a glass of white wine and cook in aluminium foil blanket
you may add potatoes and tomatoes too in the blanket
