Title: Stave with one limb with knots
Post by: jmichelin1984 on May 08, 2016, 10:32:26 pm
Hello all I have a stave that was started by a fellow that sells staves, K and something archery or bows, I'll update when I remember the company name.
Any how, he did a stave roughed out, it was 73.5 inches long, I cut to 68 inches, it's almost floor tillered,  my problem is one side has a stiffer limb because some knots in it, it's stiffer and the other side is curving beautifully,  I wasn't to back it with some canvas or some sinew if I can find it, I live it so far, it will be a off hand shooter it's all hickory and the grain so far I love it, I'll post a link to my photos later, just thought I'd ask for some advice on the knots, they are in the middle of the limb
