I decided to finish this bow up with some paint work this bow is Rocky Mountain Juniper. I have always wanted to try my hand at making one of the re flexed bows. Tillering was a bit different as I soon found out. Never the less it was quite enjoyable. Thanks for looking.

2 layers of sinew
sinew nock with horse hair tuft
natural earth pigments mixed with hide glue
handle is smoked buckskin
B-50 string with beaver fur silencers

That is really nice. Man you got that juniper bending! The unbraced pic shows that you took great care tillering that bow.

Gun Doc - I ordered the pigments online its called natural earth paint I just mixed them with hide glue, then coated the bow with 5 coats of tru oil.

Nice bow. I love tillering juniper. Do almost all of it with 80 grit.
