Title: Unknown rock

I came across some big "rocks" that are about the size of a bowling ball...they look like glass though....Im not sure what they are they are purple in color...I'll have pics as soon as possible...anyone know what they might be from my desciption?  Im gonna be wanting to trade one of them for some snake skins so keep your eyes on the trading post if your interested

I have been looking for a purple rock to make a point for my Mom. I would be interestest in a piece of one if you bust them up.

May be slag from some kind of metal smelting operation, or Fenton slag glass. A lot of rock shops sell "boulders" of Fenton, and most of it knaps good. This knife is some of the purple:

The only problem is that I don't know how to knap...Ive never been taught...I think Im gonna be posting it in the trading post
