Title: Swoop de do's
Post by: DC on December 06, 2016, 05:05:48 pm
Is this the kind of place that a guy can hollow out a bit? The picture didn't come out well so I drew in the rings a bit. There is a bit of a ridge on the back that kinda matches this shape so I was thinking I could scrape this area down to a continuous ring. I'm thinking of those belly swoops that Simon has on his bows.

Up until now I've always left the belly flat(the bows, not mine ;D). Just looking at Simon's where the belly follows the back just looks so good I thought I might try it.

Keep your same limb thickness through the swoop.  If it humps up on the back it should dip down on the belly.
