Title: Walking Stick Raffle to help get Del to the Classic. WE HAVE A WINNER!!

The money is going to getting Del the Cat to the Tennessee Classic, I know somebody has done something for you sometime, heres you a chance to pay it forward, you know that's kinda what this forums all about guys.

These sticks are truly one of a kind, with none looking the same.  I usually use sourwood because it carves great and has some nice colors in the grain.   Here are a couple of samples and I will get the pic posted of the one being raffled off as soon as I get it done.  These two just happened to be spoken for already, plus I need to know the winners height for the finished stick.  I can't sent a four foot stick to someone that is 6 foot 5 and vice versa.  I posted three pics, but the stick will be designed like the first two pics.

$5 for 1 ticket
$23 for 5

Just post how many you want want here, and then get ahold of jwhalverson he's got a paypal acount going for this and you can put your money there.

I will draw the winner in let's say about 3 weeks.  That will leave plenty of time to get the stick shipped, just in case it makes the trip to the Classic with the new owner.  All you have to do is buy some tickets folks, I will carve it and pay the shipping to your door.

Sometimes the last tickets are the luckiest tickets....you have until midnight Monday, March 31 to send a PM to me to get your tickets.  Include your email, how many tickets you want, and which of the three raffle items you want!

Gun Doc will carry that walking stick in his truck.  Sounds like he needs it quite a bit when it breaks down and leaves him stranded!

No i didnt, she just knows how to pick them.  Maybe i should mount it to a skateboard for him.  I wont be going any time soon.  My new wife firmly believes that we should be together on our birthdays, and that weekend is mine.  I hope Del has a blast.

JW-I'd laugh, but both of your points are a little to close to the truth for comfort! :o ::)
I didn't see whether or not killer duck was going to the classic, but it would seem that none of the other guys that were instrumental in this effort are going to be able to.  The fact that they would put so much effort into this, all the while knowing that they would be missing out not only speaks volumes about their own character, but certainly reflects well on Del that these fellas feel he is worthy of such generosity.   No big surprise that, of course.   Good on you all!  Josh

Killir and I were considering it, but it didn't work out. 

But I got an cracka-lackin' idea to head for Ekalaka, Montana this summer and to do a mini-MonDakJam!
