Title: Curves are more fun
Post by: Olschool on March 07, 2009, 07:35:50 pm
I dug some Osage out of the wood pile and split some staves. One of them caught my eye and I headed for the bow bench.
Got into it and forgot to grab the camera before I had it down to one ring.

Quite Snaky....but also very doable....with a little Heat and some Mojo....You should be able to keep most of the Snakiness and still get that String to lay right down the Middle

Thanks guys, this bow was fun, had a little propeller and needed a little bending to line up. But as soon as I split the stave out it just seemed to talk to me, I couldn't put it down without wanting to get back  to the shop and play with it some more.

N2, 1.25" tapered down to 3/8" at nocks
Nope, not shooting at the yard birds, but the roosters are tempting when they sound off at 4 in the morning  ;D
