I worked on this one for 3 and a half hrs. Its 8 1/2'' long..

Excuse my ignorance, but where is the "Flint River" from?
It looks alot like a coastal plain?

SSSWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTT! Nice chippin', Jesse. Joe, Flint River is a high-grade butterscotch/swirly colored variety of Coastal Plains that comes from the Flint River in GA.

 Thats some nice rock..thats raw uncooked rock. i got about 300lbs of it when i was in G.A last weekend.

  That is SWEET!, Jesse. I love working that stuff.  Did you notice I only told one person about your load of rock, and he kept it a secret too. I figured everybody would be beating your door down if I blabbed it on here. ;D

  yea he called me up and said.. "when am i going to get some flint river."
But yea i think i am going to hang on to most of it.. I like it because it solid and dose not have cracks and there large pieces.. i mean i got one blank that it 18-20'' long and 10-12'' wide.. i hope to make a large dagger outa that piece.

holy s%$#!!!!   thats awesome man.  plasn on going down this weekend myself, i'm only about 2 3/4 hrs to albany.  you  proably came down 280  to get there yourself.  next time you come down wouald like to meet you and bust some rocks up.

sure knap123 we could work something.. My Kids live in Waycross G.A when i go to see them its I24 to I70 to I16 them back roads.. when i leave waycross i get right on hwy 82 and shoot strait into Albeny and i leave Albeny headed to I70 then back to Sweet home Tennessee.
