Haven't had much knapping time lately, but here's a few I've knocked out in the last couple months. Several of them are on their way to new homes. :) Not the best photo. The rhyolite Savannah River in the middle is about 6 1/2" long for scale. Everything in there from rhyolite to obsidian, dacite, quartz, quartzite, Knife River, Coastal Plains, Flint River, Fort Payne, Keokuk, Pedernales, and coral.

Those are nice!! what style is the black one on the top left?? I really like that style of point..
-
Sweet points Steve. What kind of tool are you using for notching. That rhyolite point is great....dogwood billet?
-
Well now ...ya rock makin' machine. Very nice points, ya sure have a command of the different styles....bob

David, that would be a Kirktail- somewhere between a Kirk and a dovetail.:) Jonathan, yep, wood and hammerstone on the rhyolite and quartzite, hammerstone and antler percussion on the rest. I usually use a smalll copper flaker or a horseshoe nail for notching. Bob, nope, I can halfassed make all of them, but none of them really good.

I'd be embarrassed to show the last bunch I've worked on...too many would be broken or a lot smaller than they started.
