This is a White Ash board bow i made for my Dad. We are planning on coming down to Pappys in May and i can't have him shooting a F/G bow :o 46 @ 27 66 ntn antler over lays and a Hemp handle wrap. Thanks for looking. John

Nice one John! I've made a couple of ash bows in the past and looks like yours turned out a lot nicer then mine! I'd bet your dad likes it for sure. Look forward to meeting you at the Classic! :)

John, the ash boards I had were very good grained so I was able to chase a ring on a couple of them but I gotta say that the bias and edge ring bows performed much better all around, go figure....Brian

Good looking bow John,I am working on an Ash bow right now,hope it turns out that good.
What are the dimensions ,with and length.I need a 29 in. draw on mine,long armed Yankee. ;) ;D
So I left it 68 t-t and 66 n-n.I haven't built an ash bow in a long time.The last couple I think had some dry rot in them,anyway they blew. ;) Very well done on that one ,I am sure he loves it.
Hope to see it up close in May. :)

Hey Pappy, I haven't given it to him yet ! I hope it shoots good for him.
The bow is 68 ttt 66 ntn 1 5/8 @ fades to mid limb then tapers to 1/2 @ tips.
I hope you get to see it in May too ! :)
