The Third Annual Heartland Self Bow Jamboree will be held May 29th through the 31st, 2009. Come join us at the Morgantown Conservation Club in Morgantown, Indiana. We have a pretty good set up there and its perfect for a get together like this one. We had a great time last year even with the wet weather. Here's a link to the site. (directions are there too).

Yes I sure hope I can stay for the whole event!! I will even make some arrows with field points so I can shoot the 3-D course. I'm excited about it even though its months away. Those months can go fast.

FYI- People that I've talked to thought this was Memorial Day weekend and had other plans. This is the weekend before the holiday.
-
I think it is the week after. :)

Thank you Pappy! I was multi tasking at the time and the cart got in front of the horse :D I meant to say that Memorial Day weekend is before the Heartland.

It's just around the corner.

I was planning to bring some osage stave to sell, it that allowed or do you have to be a vendor?
-
Bring whatever ya want thats bow or archery related to sell/trade. Shoot, it doesn't even have to be archery related, I guess, just don't turn it into a flea market!
Its pretty laid back and boy did it sneak up on me.Two weeks away.
Its ALL campin' this year we aren't renting the cabin so bring any pop up shelters you have in case it rains like last time.I'm hoping for some good weather this time.
Hope to see lotsa folks there. Anyone have questions or anything lemme know here or with a PM.

Chris - I am looking forward to it! I will be there for as much time as I can spare.
Is there any gate fee?
-
I'm not in charge as much this year, Adam. I think you'll be allowed to donate a few bucks for shooting the 3-d targets but as far as I know there isn't an admission.
-
Weather looks to be better than last year. Does anyone know if Doyle is going to be there with any of his knapping?
Tracy

2$ per person folks to help pay for the use of the club. And a small donation for the range. See ya'll tomorrow.

It was really good to be there, friends! Thanks for letting me borrow some arrows, Paul, for the 3-D course.
