I bought a bale of 500 from A.M. Leonard http://www.amleo.com/index/item.cgi?cmd=view&Words=n36 and have straightened and fletched them with good results.

that's where i buy my bundles.  it's tonkin cane and makes some good arrows.  the only thing i dislike about tonkin is that it has been over dried and can be brittle at the nodes during the straightening process.

srt, the 8 to 10 mm x 4' is what you want. I'll be glad to pick it out for you, I'll even pick through the bundle and take out all the bad ones, you know, save you some shipping weight. ;D ;)
