Title: My few arrows.
Post by: rapsod on February 07, 2009, 11:17:34 pm
Near BLBS standard and yet very far...
Pinewood. Not very good because shafts are full of resin so they are heavy and soft.
Nothing extra but it is my first time. 32.5" 10mm diameter. I don't know spine nor
weight.

Bullethead because club regulation.

My chain mail and longbow. Very scary heavy longbow made of oak.

Cool arrows.  I like the mail and the viking style stuff too.

Nice arrows. You might want to try rounding off your self nock tips a bit. That way, they'll be stronger, and less likely to split. You can also re-enforce them with hardwood or horn to make them even stronger.

Nice arrows! What did you use for the binding and are those goose feathers?
What a pity that there are no bodkins on them but very nice arrows!!!!!

Yeah. That is my wooden viking sword and shield. And axe >:D

I will round off nock but first I must find out width of nock. And sharp
them a little more.

Feather are from sort of albino turkeys. And for binding I used normal cotton
thread. For glue I used gelatin for cooking.
