Post by: Floorman on February 11, 2009, 08:35:56 pm
Sharp, Just now razor sharp.I've been working with a new batch of grizzlies for a week or so. I've got an edge on them but not like the other heads i've used , any suggestion?

grizzzlys are tempered hard...so dont give up.
i use a coarse file, fine file, then a rough stone than an arkansas stone and then i strop.

do yourself a favor and when you loose or use all of those up buy yourself some 160 or 190grain ribteks.
night and day sharpening. with a fine file i can shave with mine.

or i like to use good ol zwickey or magnus...the big ones.
those sharpen easy also.

grizzlys fly great as do the others ive mentioned but i have to admit that i cheated on them and gave them a slight double bevel to ease the pain of sharpening....

dont give up yet you spent good money on em'
