Skipped out of work today so had nothing better to do ::) O:). Got bored with pealin and sealin staves so got to knappin. A peice of tough raw TX perd with antler handle - went a step further and autographed the butt end of it 8).

i am sure you guys get tired of people saying stuff like  "wow thats nice,you want my address"
i aint gonna tell ya to send me that knife,but that pile of rocks ya got laying there,sure would be nice to have .
hopefully this weekend i can stock up on some rock.

i wanna be that good someday,so i figure after a few tons of rock have been busted up,i might be able to make something like that.

that is a fine knife,cool autograph too

Thanks Steven, you see those cuts in the bandaid? Would have been yet more nicks on my finger if it hadn't been in the way, hehheh ;D. Yup Tim, them rocks seem to make you earn whatever yer trying to make - most folks I've sent em to haven't been impressed it seems :). But their is a lot to say for tonnage, if you have the bug you'll deffinantly get there ;). That's funny Dana - thanks. Oh and I do still have your addy and am gettin really close ::).

Thanks Mike! Nope, that's just sharpie with a couple coats of tru oil to keep it from smearing. Gracias mickey - I'll work on it :)..

Nice knife, Paul. I like tough rock. It's more trouble to get worked down, but it's tough and sharp when you get it there. That one looks like it would be a good knife to use as well as looking good.

Thanks all! It's a labor of love or at least great meditation :). This knife aught to be able to clean any critter on the continent with just a resharpening now and then..
