Finished the knife for Red Hawks son.. not real pretty, but came out cool anyway... has some bear and eagle medicine on it...the rest are some points I made from the rest of the glass i had.... hope you all enjoy... Hawk

i seen the blade on your other post,the finished product is very cool.whos says it aint pretty.

A/Ho hawk. great stuff ya made there. love the knife im sure red hawk's son will find a good use for it especially if his dad taught him how to hunt!

How well do the arrowheads stand up to hunting? And have you found glass to be easier to make than stone heads???

The glass is about like working obsidian, as far as holding up the glass in my opinion is just as good as obsidian but not as tough as flint or jasper or other tough rocks.. most of the glass I find is in the badlands and has been weathering for years so is pretty hard stuff... hope all is well on your side of the pond brother .. You fellas that work that glass amaze me. That knife looks like a primitive filet knife, really nice, and Pete...That is some kind of perty!
