Title: Thebes Point
Post by: Blacktail on March 25, 2009, 02:12:43 pm: This is my first attempt at a Thebes point. It is four inches long and is almost two inches wide. It is Obsidiain. Again, any advice would be helpful. Thanks, JOhn

Post by: Blacktail on March 25, 2009, 05:36:36 pm: my wife went ahead and posted these photos for me while i was at work (bless her heart)....but,what i wanted to do on this one was to show more of the notching...i did notching differantly....i used a copper notcher that was shaped like a screwdiver and a small antler billet and punched the notches in....for some this might be nothing new but for me it was and i had a blast learning it...and i think i can do deeper notching using a punch....thanks john
