Title: Woodchuck motor?

In true po'boy spirit....I am making mine own taper grinder!

I have it all set....the correct angle and the whole nine yards....

What I lack is the motor!

What motor does the 'chuck use?

What kinda motor can I use?

I already tried a drill.....not the results I want!

Any idears?

OKeedokee.....I did some diggin' around....

A sewing machine motor works like a charm!

I am gonna put together a tutaorial when I build it in a few weeks!

Instead of paying 130$ plus shipping for a woodchuck.....I can build one for less than $40!!!!!

Evil-Bay brother....evil-bay!

Buy the motor, Install a dimmer switch into the cord and BAM insta-control!

If you can find an electric weedeater motor just install a dimmer switch and there ya go. Just remember to start the dimmer switch off real low when you plug in the wire. Mike
