Just thought I would share my bow with everyone. Her name is "Natural Beauty" 64" Tip to tip, 62#@26in. Pronghorn antelope horn arrow rest and a hair strike plate. She is a little snakey in the upper limb and has a few character knots and pin knots. My first self bow and first time working with osage. I have made a red oak board bow that didn't turn out too well, I really like the osage. Im really happy how it turned out for my first bow, shoots straight and packs a punch, please leave any comments you have, I like good and bad ones.
Thanks,
Kyler

Very nice bow and especially for your first osage bow. You did a jam-up job! The upper limb looks a bit stiff right at and above the upper door jam in the pic. Probably where the snake is in the bow. It could bend more there but other than that...CONGRATULATIONS! 8)

Nice Bow...gotta love Osage!! I agreee with what Pat said and also it looks like it may be strating to hinge a bit just about 8 inches below your Hand on the Bottom Limb....or is that another Ginkey spot in the Wood??

that is some nice work i figured out why the pics look like the top is bending more. from what i can see it looks like the top is longer than the bottem and that is why the bottem is stiffer. keep on working hard. i just finish a oak bow and had three fail be for it. so i salute you and wish you good forturnes on build more like this one

Very nice! Not only for a first-timer!
You should have another look at the upper limb just as Pat says!

That's awesome dude! I love the pronghorn horn. I have some sheds and was thinking of doing something much the same or as limb tips.

Great first bow! ;)

Cool bow, and like others have said love that yeller osage especially the snakey ones. For my 2 cents it would be perfect if it started to bend a bit sooner on the upper limb but I would not bother with it now. Oh and dont be afraid to pull that baby back deeply and you will get much more punch out of it. Kenneth
