Title: Black Walnut???

what do you guys think??  Is this black walnut.  i have 5 or six of these on my property.  How well does it work in self bows??  seen a few bow of it, i think, but not sure.

That is black walnut!  treat it like a whitewood and you will be fine.

Yes it will work well for a selfbow. I just finished a black walnut selfbow today I should have it posted in a few days just need a handle.
