Not this year, the plate is too full. But Happy Birthday, Pat.
-
Yeah.Happy Birthday Old Man....... ;) I wish I could attend this....sounds like another good time....but with my Annual Pilgrimage to "Da You-Pee" on the first week of August....don't really have the extra Time or Money this Year especially this Year....since I have got it to where all of the Boys are going Home with Me and the Missus this time....first time in 12 years........so hope the Weekend turns out great and have a Happy Birthday....I will be thinking about y'all....I mean You's Guy's ........ ;D
-
Pappy, Generally about the same time each year. I'll check a calender and see if I can figure it out for you. Would love it if you could make it. My B-Day is July 28 so I try to have it near that time.
Mike this would be a long haul for you to attend. Another 5 hours at least past Pappy's.
Eddie, I'll put you down for next year. Will probably see you at Chris's this fall. You will however miss out on the Port-o-let. We are splurging for one this year. It was you that ruined the outhouse last year, wasn't it? ;D
-
It was you that ruined the outhouse last year, wasn't it? ;D
How do you ruin an outhouse and I'm not sure I want an answer.
-
Just use your imagination! :o
-
I still don't know yet. I might not be able to get off of work Friday and Saturday. We're running 10 hour shifts as it is.

Pat, I had no choice but to go into that Vile House of Excrement. I woke up too late, chiggers were too bad for the bushes, so I sat there gagging, eyes watering and the door wide open. I didn't care who was watching, but I think it was full the first day. See you next year.
-
...and your point is....? ;D
-
I had to wait for the three people before me to clean up the puke. :o :'(
-
With all them woods out there to puke in they had to spoil the outhouse. ::) It's a real shame. Well, we've got them covered this year. ;D
-
LOL....and this is what kind of party I am going too?????? :o >:D ::)
-
Stringstretcher, we are actually all meek little fellers that sit around all weekend in tweed sweaters sipping Earl Grey tea and discussing the NASDAQ index. :)
-
Charlie, I guess you will have to find out the hard way(or easy way ;D )
-
Either way gents.....I am game. (boy how I might regret saying that). See you all there. Hey does anyone need some beeswax?
-
For any of you flat landers and hot landers you might consider a sweat shirt or light jacket for the evenings. Looks like night temps in the low 60S. Last week it was 54deg at my house one morning so be prepared. Looks like day time temps in the low 80s with a slight chance of afternoon showers possible. Sounds perfect to me. ;)
-
Well, as i feared, looks like school is going to get in the way. :-\ seems like no matter how hard i try i just keep getting further and further behind. IM going to hate missing this Pat, yall take pictures . Maybe one day when im all done with school ill have more time. Have fun. Boo
-
Sorry to hear that Bobby but school is more important! There is always next year. ;)
-
Me and boo are both in the same boat with the school work. Barely keeping our heads above water. >:( I had hoped to get all caught up, but they just keep piling the work on us.
-
I'll be up there. Heading up friday caravan'n with allen.
Couple questions.
1. you guys up for a trade blanket sort of deal? anyone bringing much in the way of trade items (dumb question). maybe we should have a blanket swap on sat night.
2. We gonna do a community dinner one night? If so lets get our sht together so we dont all bring the same eats. :)
gonna go shoppin later this week and will stock up. I can do the taters again :) and bring a mess of big bakers. .... only this time I will nuke 'em prior to leaving the house then just heat them up in the fire. some of them last year were only 1/2 cooked. but they were good anyway. will bring the works too to put on them and hopefully wont forget the sour cream this year. Actually think it is still in the fridge from last year.... maybe I will just throw it in the cooler now.... . might be a bit blue and hairy tho...
what else?
looking forward to it.

I will bring the dutch oven and make a big pot of sausage soup... ;).. I will also bring a few things to trade..
-
TJ, sorry you won't be there. School won't last forever! ;)
Wade, I got lots of trade stuff. Bring it on!!! ;D
We'll do a community dinner Saturday evening. I know we have trout and bream coming, Alan(from Hendersonville) is bringing his big cooker and a 3 burner gas stove. I have a Weber grill. David, definitely bring the sausage soup and the dutch oven.
As you guys come through town the Enmark gas station on your right coming into town has cheap ice.
What is everyone's ETA? Charlie(stringstretcher) will be here Thursday evening.
If you play music and have an instrument, bring it(them). 8)
It's getting close. The joint is all mowed. Yellow jacket search has found very few. Haven't seen a copperhead in quite a while and the ticks seem to be on a down turn(but, be prepared). The weather looks good with days in the 80s and nights in the low 60s. Good chance of rain Sunday afternoon. Just in time to wash away what was left over. ;D
-
If there is going to be a grill there, I will bring plenty of venison burger?????? Do we need charcoal? If anyone is interested in a 48# bear grizzly,. I will bring it????
-
stringstretcher bring the Grizzlt I might be interested. Pat from the looks of it I will be there fri evening...
-
Pat, probably late Friday afternoon. We may bring some more barbecue like we did at Hickory.
-
Pat, Wade and I should be there by 10 or 10:30 Friday morning.
Alan
-
Pat,
Dingleberry and the dingletts will arrive sometime Friday morning to Friday afternoon.
Can I bring my little bow-wow like last time?
Can't wait.
I am bringing a grub casserole; a recipe passed down through the generations. ;D
-
I am so irritated that my instructors had the gaul to assign important work to me and Bobby the weekend of your birthday Pat. Can you believe that? They feel that their assignments are more important than the celebration of Pat's birthday. They want us to miss this epic epic event.
All joking aside, I hate that we are not going to make it. Boo and I had planned every thing out until we got to class on Monday, then we got a bomb of reality dropped on us.
Pat, have a Happy B-Day and everyone else have some extra fun for those of us who want to be there.

If any of you guy's have some white or other colored feathers that you would be willing to trade.. Let me know..
-
Anybody have a take down sleeve they would trade? Bring it along if you do, I have some osage that I'd like to make a take down out of.
Alan
-
Alan I got a home made one that I will bring for you to look at..
-
I got bags of feathers here that I am bringing. Some good ones, and some that are not so good....you choose.....lol
-
Jonathan, since your bow-wow has already been introduced, I'm sure he/she will be welcomed! ;D
TJ, I'm sorry you and Bobby won't be here but we will have a little extra fun just for you guys. Tell your teacher we all think he stinks!!! >:(
David, I have some full length red feathers and maybe some white.
update...Porta-Potty will be delivered on Friday morning. The outhouse is still available for anyone that wants to brave it! ;D
-
Where's the pictures. ??? ??? I know yall had a big time ,I want to see what I missed. :(
