Here's the links to a series of cool youtube videos about the projectile points made from obsidian that originated in the Owens Valley in eastern California.  Also has a lot of interesting stuff about the Paiute Indians who lived in that region.  Really interesting stuff.  Enjoy.

I watched them and they were awesome. Very informative. I would love to get out there and pick up a truck load of what they were getting.
