Hi all,
I'll be at the  BIG :o Malestroit medieval festival, 11/12/13 Sept. Doing a Warbow demo/presentation.
It's a seriously big medieval fete, even with full size working seige engines and the like... 8)
I've got a couple of invitations available for any experienced, serious self yew warbow archers (100#lb and over) who would like to join us, (medieval outfit is an obligation). 
Here's the other good bit, accomodation is paid for and so are main meals !

Hi Chris,
     Looks as if it will be a great festival. I am really tempted, but having looked at a map, I can see it is a long way from Trieste! There's got to be someone from the UK who'd like to go. Would you like me to post the message on the EWBS forum? Let me know.

Hi there, it sounds like a good event however it does clash with an EWBS shoot being held at Stowe on the 13th September so I'm not sure if anyone from EWBS could attend as it is the Standard Arrow competition.

good to hear from you! my first thoughts were to contact you directly about it, but then, like you say, it's so far from trieste... so i kind of guessed it would be a bit to far just for a weekend ! (It's about a 4:30hr drive north from my place.) Hopefully we'll catch up again soon !
Yes, that would be good to post the message on the EWBS forum...even if there is a 'home' event, someone might like to come over for a change.

Unlucky timing that, Chris. I'll try and post this invitation anyway; at least geographically, the festival is much closer to Blighty than to Trieste!

Relaxing now  ::) until next weekend ! at Neuvicq le chateau...then a prehistoric archery competition begining October...it's all go at the moment !
Got a new stock of yew coming also in the winter...yes !
Anyone going to Blain, last weekend of Sept ?

Hi Chris,
      Looks like you had a great time! Nice holes in the steel plate too. I really wish I could have been there. I've become more involved in that sort of thing here in Italy and I am trying to promote the English Warbow over here as there's a fair bit of interest.

yes the case hardening worked a treat this time  ! i got some new heads from Jaroslaw also...and some from Hector cole for Denis.
