well iwasnt sure where to place this
it would fit in about any section like bows,arrows,knapping,hunting or anything else
so if the mods find a better local for this feel free to move it ;) ;D
well the wife and i drove about three hours one way today to check out a museum we have here in minnesoat that i knew nothing about untill the other day
it is the "POPE AND YONG ARCHERY MUSEUM"
it contains bows and arrows from all the greats like HILL,BEAR,ST CHARLES,POPE,YOUNG,NATIVE AMERICAN BOWS,ISHI ARROW HEADS etc etc

this place must have the largest single collection of heads anywhere on the planet
i had taken over 170 pics today,i have many more but its getting late and i dont feel like spending all night posting pics
i have pics of an ishi arrow,some NA bows etc
if any of you ever get to minnesota you gotta check this place out
i will try and post more pics tommorrow or one day soon

kyle: its in chatfield mn, south of rochester a bit
i have many more pics,some steel bows and bows by all of the greats,they have mounts of every big game animal in north america on display also,all taken by bow of course

N2: its only about 1 hr to an 1.5 hrs south of the twin cities
when i walked into the bow room,well its like you have just found nirvana.
the feeling of sheer awe coming over you when you see all these great bows in one area.there must be well over 1000 bows on display
they even had,and i hae to mention it here,the evolution of the compound bow on display.it was neat for what it was
i wished my laptop hadnt crashed,i would love to post more pics
