l dont think this bow is worthy for BOM, but l'd like to show it anyway because l'm bored and have nothing better to do ;D. lts 50'' tip to tip, 1.25'' at the fades then tapers to 1/4'' tips. lts backed with hickory and draws 50#@25''. A splinter lifted just under the handle during tillering so l super glued it and wrapped art. sinew around it....so far so good. The handle is wrapped with Paracord 550. Thanks for looking.

looks great man, how high is it braced?
-
That's a cool little bow. I'd bet it will spit an arrow pretty well. The brace height does look a bit high though.
-
Thanks! The brace is 6 1/2'' high.

I like it , I love seeing short bows. 50" bow drawing to 25" :o. You got a lot of guts. Good job getting so much draw out of a short bow.
-
nice i like shot bows.

Looks awesome...I wish I could make a short bow that would work for me....but my arms are too long being 6'2" :D

The most important thing is you made it left-handed:)

Thanks Guys!

Not bad at all for a 50" bow but looking at the string angle I bet she stacks like hell eh

lts not as bad as you would think it would be, judging by the string angle. l was going to steam the tips alittle bit to help prevent the problem but as you probably know ipe is a real bear to bend. Oh well, its a fun little bow to just mess around with and it does shoot pretty nice and flat.

I don't think any amount of steam will make ipe bend, and yes its a nice little bow :)
