Hej all,
since I'm a happy dad since may, there is not much time left for building bows. However, I finally manged to finish another one.
It's made from bamboo backed prune. The riser is european walnut and maple.
The bow is 64" ntn, 43#@28".
Here are the pics:

Tiller looks really good!
Overall really nice bow!
The wood looks dark for plume; you sure it's plume not prune?? (I had the same mix-up once; had my mother to tell me the difference, actually... ;D ;D ;D )

Cool bow. that handle is something else :o Great job :)

Well... that is just plain friggin' gorgeous!! Nicely done all around. Your tiller is super. Question... how did you do the checkering in the grip? Did you buy the wood that way, and add the lam, or did you do it yourself?

I made the checkered grip myself. It's pretty easy:
Take two thin boards (about 1/8" thick) and glue them togather than you cut crosswise strips of about 1/4". arrange the strips by flipping every second one around and glue the whole thing between veneer.
Thanks for all the positive comments
