Title: HUNTING WITH MY BOYS!

I took some time away from chasing elk and went bunny hunting with my boys... They both have new bows given to them by Joe York... these new bows worked well and had some big medicine as the boys and I hunted the sagebrush for cottontails. nine bunnies fell to our arrows, and memories were made to last a lifetime.. Taking kids out into the outdoors is what this journey we call life is all about. Hope all my brothers and sisters of the bow are enjoying this hunting season.. happy hunting to all, Hawk a/ho

Cool stuff! Them boys won;t soon forget those hunts.

 Stacey sure knows how to capture the light! I miss rabbits hunts here in Mo Our pop is very low.

Two Hearts and Two Kills:  Way to go on the bunnies.  You did a good job finishing those bows and really like the snake back!  Now if you can just find a way to score more hits than Hawk!!  Hope I am along to see that!  Pokie

Damn Hawk,

Either you guts are absolutely dead-on accurate with those bows, or there are HUNDREDS of rabbits out there!

 Billy there are lots of bunnies... but they are fast little warriors.. lots of shots and i even get lucky once in a while.. how is your hunting going this season?

Ive been huntung them for a while behind my house andit seems when i get close enough to shoot em i miss by mere inches... Oh well still lots of fun! Looks like you guys had a really great time. How good it is to be able to enjoy that with your boys.

Well, I just might have to make a trip out there to your neck of the woods and hunt rabbits....man, some of the most fun I have is hunting small game....I LOVE it!! 

Hunting here has been pretty good as far as squirrels, but it's horrible for deer.  Honestly I don't even bother going after deer here in north GA.  I spend my time hunting squirrels, then when I go to Missouri in December I will get serious about deer.  But hunting deer where I live is pretty much a waste of time.  I've only had one shot opportunity at a deer  in GA over my entire LIFE (!!!!!!!!) and that was 4 years ago. But I missed.

Billy:  You can bet that hitting that many bunnies is not easy!  The sage brush is so thick that sometimes all you can see is an eye looking at you and to shoot thru that sage is tough!  I keep saying how well Hawk can see and that makes the competition one sided.  That and the fact that he shoots so well!  As far as those boys, they were born to the bow and if you think you can harvest more rabbits than they be prepared to be humbled!  You would love our country and hope if you ever get to visit the Hustons I will get to meet you!  Pokie

     Havn't really had a chance to hunt much, but plan on looking for elk next week. If my health permits i want to take a week to hunt our old stomping grounds later in the winter....Brokenhand....Aho.

That looks fantastic can' wait to get my boys afield.  Boys a little to young, and to treacherous up here but were headen south.  I can hardly wait, rainbows that look up for a meal, and easy hunts that don't require an underwriter.
