Title: Snakebite!
Post by: Bear on October 06, 2009, 03:41:37 pm: Made my frist primitive kill with "Voodoo Child" last weekend. I had to shoot sitting down and the deer was five paces from my tree, very steep. The result was a spine shot. The nicely placed arrow in the pic was the coup de grace. Almost all materials used were gifted, traded, or clipped from dead turkeys. ;D

Thank you Twin Oaks and PA friends for all your help learning to build bows. This is an incredibly rewarding experience!! Gald I can share it with you for all you have shared with me.

I'd say thats normal with a three-blade and lung hit. Very similar to a rifle hit in the same place. The lungs spray it out.
