Hey everyone,
I sent the last Smithsonian article to Ed the other day, so they are finished and sent and just waiting to be published. I don't yet know when the series will begin...I think it all depends on when they have enough room in the first available mag. Some of the articles are very photo-heavy, with almost 40 pictures! Whew! The photos of the bows are actually a composite of two photos (each photo shows 1/2 of the bow) and I joined them together using photoshop. I did this so the photos could be enlarged and would show maximum detail. I also have close-ups of bow tips, arrowheads, fletching, and paint designs. I included acquisition dates, length and width measurements, etc. There is a lot of information contained in these articles. I can't wait to see them in the mag and I hope you all enjoy them.
