I take an old MA-3 and grind the front of it flat down about a half inch. It works good and knocks 'em stupid.

44 mag casing over sinew wrapped cedar shafting... glue on with pine pitch or ferrile tite and they kill quick. the sinew makes the shafting thick enough for the casing to fit tight also cushions the blow when it hits and keeps the shafts from breaking off.. Hawk

I like using the stone heads that break.  I round them off at the breaking point. They more or less end up looking like a crescent moon.  Sharp.  Powerful.  Dead Rabbit.

huh. i think i would take hawkbow's advice. i believe he may have killed a rabbit or two in his time.  ;D
