I pretty much have my heart set on making my girlfriend a bow for Christmas this year. A friend of mine gave me some pretty nicely grained Mangaris a few months back, saying "See what you can do with this," so I'm pretty much asking you people "Is mangaris a good bow wood?"

Haven't tried it yet but the numbers look exceptional. It is twice as strong as Teak and used extensively in areas where strength, flexing strength and impact resistance are necessary.
