Title: Wool string silencers
Post by: PeteC on December 01, 2009, 04:29:17 pm
Does anyone remember where the fairly recent post on making wool silencers is?  He used a board to wrap the wool yarn, then glued it with barge cement. Thanks,  God Bless

Pete, my Grandmother was a serious knitter. She made all eleven of her Grandchildren sweaters, hats, and mittens every year. Watched her make the pom poms for the hats, by simply wrapping as much yarn as she needed around the fingers of one hand. I do my wool silencers the same way, no special tool, and make them lickety split.
