i am wondering where i can find some turkey or goose feathers to make some primitive arrows with. i dont know of any turkey or goose hunters that i can just ask for their unwanted feathers for..so Are there any websites that you know of that sells goose/turkey feathers for really cheap??

Good guy to deal with. Their hand painted feathers are awesome and make great gifts.
I get the #2 grade primaries. For the most part, the flaws that make them #2 grade will get cut off anyway.

If you can find a small scale bird farmer they will often let you take away sack fulls of feathers for free or for a small gift or donation. The trick is to find an archery friendly farmer and be there at the right time to do him a favour by taking away for free what he would have to pay to dispose of.

until recently, i often got mine from a fly fishing store. i've moved since then, so i should check out the local places.
