Title: best design for ash

whats the best design for an ash bow with poundage about 30#?im looking to make a simple bow thats shoots fast, and around 60" so i can manuever it in the forest.

At that weight...and using Ash and wanting a Simple Design....well then just go for the Basic D-Bow...ain't nothing more Simple...and they are Sweet to shoot too....JMO

yup i'm with Mike
a "D" bow,sweet shooters,simple design,and pretty quick to make at that weight

I'll have to agree also. If you have TBBII, check out the Eastern Woodland Bows chapter. Many good examples of bows that fit your need.
