Been working some on a new Hickory 'D' bow. Got the dimensions very close and now working on floor tillering and reducing belly material so those stiff darn limbs can start bending!
Going to be 65" NTN and I am hoping for around 50 # at 28".

Take your time and tiller well. Can you shorten up the fade area a bit? 65 ntn is pushing it for hickory. Mark some nice dark pencil lines at the end of the fades and make sure the bending starts there. Jawge
