new and still learning on bow builds...is there a standard for distance from grip to string ??
-
well i like them just high enough so as not to get wrist slap
and yet you want to find the sweet spot,so as to speak of,that the bow shoots good from also
usually for me that qround 5.5"-6"
-
bubba, try a Fistmeal. It is the distance of your closed fist with your thumb sticking up. On most people it is about 6-6.5 inches. See how it shoots and tune it from there.

i just measured that after i read your post
for me its 5.75" ;D
-
Nope. I start at fletch clearing distance. More on my site. jawge
