Wanted to share some pictures of my first shooter.......other then a kids bow LOL. It's a 64.5" osage 1 1/4" at the fades with a slow taper. Finished out at 65#@27" The bow has a lot of character; two snakes, a knot, a kinked deflexed limb and propellar twist. Shoots great though!

The one snake I had a small crack on the belly. So I put a sinew wrap on it at seems to be holding well. The other wrap I put over a knot, but that was just to make the limbs match. I've seen some of your work on here (pappy) You make some awesome bows.

Thanks,I was just wondering,I have done that also several times in the snakes because of grain run off, better be safe than sorry.Nice work. :)

Nice bow... Way to go making your first bow a challenging one with the kinks, knots, and snakes. Clean wood will be no problem for you! :) -josh
