Well its been a while since I've been able to finish a bow, but here's one I've been working on for the last several months. It's a Osage self bow 64" ntn and draws 48#@28" It's rather plain for my tastes but the fellow who I made it for wanted it that way.
So we stuck with the kiss principle. (Keep it simple stupid) lol..... ;D

Absolutely amazing the beauty that you can get from a piece of bent wood. Very nice and bookmarked for Feb Self BOM if you don't mind.

Thanks Guys. ;D
By the way this started out life as a straight stave. The deflex reflex was added with a heat gun.

that's pretty awesome Ryan that you got it to stay... If I would have tried that it would just all pull out while tillering... :) -josh

Josh, the key to getting the reflex to hold is not over stressing the limbs during tillering, that and proper limb design and moisture content. The deflexed handle takes a lot of stress off the limbs at both brace and full draw allowing for the limbs to be much narrower and still hold the reflex.

Thanks Ryan! ;D -josh

Your welcome. ;)
