Holy Crap, Jesse. Stick me a couple of big ones aside if you want to do a little trading.
-
Those big one really need to be sawn. It's not every day you findthat kind of rock in sizes like that. Really rare stuff. I'm so jealous it hurts ;D
-
That's what I had in mind. I no somebody I can pay to cut them.
-
I am not going to touch those big eggs they will be traded to sold at knap-ins it would be silly not to have them cut.
I have allot of 3 to 7 inch chunks for trade right now.
Sure Eddie i got a big one with your name on it. we can work something out at the classic.
-
Don't forget to gather up that milk crate for me before you leave for Georgia.

Cool, thanks, Jesse.

hope you realize what you have got there Jess? When I first started knapping I run across a house site that was full of high grade Jeff city nods. I got 15 buckets and ruined about all of it before I knew what was what. I have never found rock that good since.
cherish those rocks buddy and grats on a great haul!
P.S. I just sold a big billet a while back.....Wished I still had it now!

Question why is every one saying they need sawn ??? makes me want to cry ;D, i want to bust them up with some one big hammer stone and a nice big flat anvil stone. our ancestors did not saw them. >:D
-
I like to bust erm as much as anyone. but this is rear rock and sawing it gets the most outa it.
