this one isnt quite finished but its deffinatly a shooter!
opposing string nocks,and a no finish on her yet,drawn to 26 inches here soon to be shot in at 28"
it came in at just under 50 lbs at my draw.

Cool looking bow. Is it from a sapling? Do you know what kind of maple?

It's bending very hard at the handle. I'd try and get the limbs working more from mid-limbs to the tips.

Is the cross section "D" as well? How much set did it take so far?

not much more than an inch of set.
i quit making "fancy" bows a while back.
i stop working the bow as soon as it wants to be a bow.
