The only actual bow hinge I cam accross was the one by Stykbow. I was wondering what some of the requirements for a "regular" hinge are to use it in a take down bow? Perhaps a certain configuration or something? I can't find alot on this type of take down, so any help would be great.

Kegan, I would search thru the Archery history or archive site for pics. Are you looking to make your own? With your talent at bows, I would say you could!
Back in the late '80s, Norm Blaker showed me a bow he had built, and the hinge that he said he had filed and cut out of brass. It was a nice job and fit.

Kegan, if ya use a regular hinge I would use something like these less give in the hinge.

Thanks guys :) Right now I can't find a hinge, so I'm going to attempt making one- coincidentally just like Bowkee's with longer tangs :)
