well i have been on a Dalton kick as of late
havent had alot of time for knapping, but when i did find time these are what i have been making
the first two are a couple of dalton hemphill's
the other is a dalton sloan
the hephills are coral and im not sure what the other is
the sloan is from a slab of peacock obsidion, the pic does not do the colors justice
you really have to see it to appreciate the colors of the peacock ;D ;)
heres some pics

great work tim. is that middle one fluted?
-
Very nice, Tim. It's hard to take a picture of that Peacock and get the colors in it.
-
thanks for the nice words guys ;D
jamie, that middle one is not fluted.it looks like it is only because the small spall had a flat spot on it and i decided
to use that end as the base and tried to thin it down enough to match that spot.but didnt work quit as planned.
but i am happy with it.that was some pretty tough material too
